Tim Kelly Posted August 3, 2014 Posted August 3, 2014 A pretty decent unit if you want a stand alone unit. If you want to network units and maybe link them to the trolling motor and/or use specific mapping software they're less integrated than the Humminbird and Lowrance offerings. As a unit on their own though, they're definite contenders. Not sure how they're priced, but if they're cheaper than the H or L equivalent units they're worth a look. Quote

Super User Sam Posted September 9, 2014 Super User Posted September 9, 2014 Thanks for the thread, Cajun Ben. I take my Lowarance unit to the Lowarance dealer and repair shop in Virginia and the owner told me to consider Raymarine when I am ready to update to a side and down scan unit. Raymarine is known in the saltwater fishing circles but bass guys know about Lowarance, Hummingbird and Garmin as we use these units the most. If you want to speak with the guy I can PM you his name and phone number and he can tell you about Lowarance and Raymarine as he sells and repairs both. Just let me know and I can send you the data when I get home. Very nice people who will tell you how it is between the two manufacturers. And "How About Dem Tigers!!!!" Quote
