Brayberry Posted August 3, 2014 Posted August 3, 2014 Living in Chesapeake, I fish a lot in Suffolk. And was curious how many others are around the area. The lakes I fish the most are: Speight Run Lone Star Lakes Lake Prince I figured this would be more of a local thread, where we could talk techniques, lures, etc about the local lakes. Quote
edfitzvb Posted August 3, 2014 Posted August 3, 2014 I live in Virginia Beach. I wish I fished a lot more in Suffolk, but life gets in the way. I have fished mostly Lake Prince and occasionally Western Branch. I plan to try the Lone Star Lakes soon as I hear good things about them. Always ready to hear what works for others, as my success has been limited lately. Quote
bassacre Posted August 4, 2014 Posted August 4, 2014 I mainly fish Gaston but I plan on hitting cohoon and meade more often in the future. Last time I hit cohoon we got around 12 or 14 bass the biggest one went 5 lbs, all on junebug zoom lizards and chartreuse spinnerbaits. Quote
VAHunter Posted August 4, 2014 Posted August 4, 2014 I fish Smith, Little Creek, Bradford, Northwest River, Back Bay, North Landing River, all the rivers in NE NC, Prince, Cohoon, Meade, Burnt Mills and Western Branch. I've also fished many of the private lakes in the area. In general, if there is water I've probably fished it or have tried to fish it. Quote
