kb here was at sportmans warehouse yesterday and seen some  baits that i threw away 30 years ago the jitterbug  so i just had to buy a few they have know got a brokenback jitterbug. may be the fish forgot how the look .   kb ::D

They are an all time classic. You shouldn't have thrown them away the older ones were made of wood I have some of those but I won't use them they were my Father's I'm 55 and the Bugs are older then me.

My Dad used them alot and I have two of them but I never really had the confidence with them that I do with a pop R so I dont think I really ever gave them a fair shake. I know they have withstood the test of time well so that must be no accident.

I fish 70% at night in the summer and the Jitterbug is my number one top water! :D I use one color BLACK, and I use the BIG jitterbug that them musski guys use. But one thing change the hooks that come with the jitterbug they are junk!!! :-/ I replace them with VMC hooks. 8-)

Great night time lure , I never have caught many in the day with one though. I need to find one the dang wal mart here dont sell them . >:D I guess I will have to make a drive to the nearest bass pro shop . I have been using a Heddon -Pop N Image jr  at night and catching a lot ,but not the big ones like a jitterbug will.
