OroBass Posted July 31, 2014 Posted July 31, 2014 What grease can I use from an automotive. Store to re grease a cheap spinning reel. Quote
Delaware Valley Tackle Posted July 31, 2014 Posted July 31, 2014 Marine grease is a good choice and available anywhere including Wally world. The parts store may have Super Lube which is a synthetic, also a good choice. 1 Quote
BobP Posted July 31, 2014 Posted July 31, 2014 I really like Super Lube grease. It is fortified with PTFE and is not so thick that it will slow down the action of a spinning reel. Buy an 8 oz can at NAPA for around $10 and you'll have virtually a lifetime supply. 1 Quote
Capt.Bob Posted July 31, 2014 Posted July 31, 2014 The Marine grease would be my suggestion, but there are better options, from most tackle shops and probably cheaper. Quote
