Tomorrow I'll be attempting making outriggers for my kayack. Have any of you guys made these before? I've been looking o youtube and finding random stuff online but if anyone has experience it help a lot!

A few questions I have.

1.) Do I use the longer boat fenders or the shorter and thicker ones.

2.) The length of the outrigger. The longer the better say 4 feet or 2.5 feet?
