I never cared much for senkos... Them pit boss catch fish though! (So do senkos)

Nice fish! I'm curious, how do you rig the pit boss and how to work it? Just on Texas rig and cast and reel???

I know people who fish them like a normal Texas rig, I just like to use them when I'm trying to fish a little more vertical in thicker stuff, like pitching into holes in matted grass or punching straight into the thick stuff....

For more open cover I would rather use other style baits....

What's a good color pit boss to use? Pumpkin?  Do you like the Jr. size or just the regular?

For some reason back in June and early July I was able to catch fish on a green pumpkin purple flake pit boss on a local pond. Now they won't even bite them.

Regular size and the color was black/blue.

Pit boss will flat out catch fish, very versatile too, you can fish it weightless like a buzzbait, punch, flip cover, drag it on the bottom, or swim it 2-3feet, let it fall to the bottom, and repeat (DO THIS). Makes one heck of a jig trailer too. Natural colors in clear water, black/blue for low vis, keep it simple.

I'll purchase some Berkley Havoc Pit Boss this week & give them a try.  Thanks for the advice.
