Question Regarding Seagur Smackdown Lb Test For Spinning Reel??

I am wanting to give this line a try for my spinning set up, I notice the line diameter is very small, even the high lb lines such as 50lbs has less diameter compared to mono. Am I missing something thinking that a 30 or 40lb smackdown would be ok on my spinning reel since diameter so small?

I have the 30lbs on one and 20lbs on another spinning set up and have not had any issues with either one.

Depending on rod and cover you fish, 10-20lb should be more than enough.

I fish a lot around trees and stumps, so I like a strong line. The setup is mostly for plastics and sometimes cranks.
