Low_Budget_Hooker Posted July 24, 2006 Posted July 24, 2006 I love visiting thios part of the forum, from rods to lures, you guys build some seriously top notch stuff. My buddy has a sweet handmade crankbait that had his family name on it. He displays it like it's art ,....because it IS!! How much would you guys charge me to build a BassResource one and a Low Budget Hookers one? Quote
kbkindle Posted July 24, 2006 Author Posted July 24, 2006 Excellent workmanship!! Bet they catch fish! What wood are you using? kb here i like basswood to make lures i tryed the foil on the purple one. those that are all brown in a circle were for a guy stationed in japan in the marines he sent me a pic of bait fish over there and said he wanted them that color and no gloss to them kb Quote
jasone Posted July 25, 2006 Posted July 25, 2006 KB--I agree with all here. Nice work. LBH--What would you want to lure to look like? Just white with the BR logo or your own? Spec it out in this forum if you would. My lures aren't as good as most here but I would be happy to supply one of each flatsided crank for no cost provided you supply the split rings and hooks. bocabasser Posted August 2, 2006 Posted August 2, 2006 hey kb. what are the chances of you making a crank that mimics a mayan cichlid? i live in florida and these are the fish that big bass are eating right now. if i sent you a pic and some cash, could you make me a couple of them? your work looks great, and nobody is making a cichlid crank.
