Super User Catch and Grease Posted July 21, 2014 Super User Posted July 21, 2014 Maybe a tube, maybe trick worms? There really isn't a best. Quote
STPC Posted July 21, 2014 Posted July 21, 2014 Original rapala floating in either gold or silver. 3 Quote
Super User Darren. Posted July 21, 2014 Super User Posted July 21, 2014 I'd say Senkos (or knockoffs) in 3", 4", 5" sizes. 7 Quote
Super User Catch and Grease Posted July 21, 2014 Super User Posted July 21, 2014 Both of the above are good choices too! ^^^ Quote
OntarioFishingGuy Posted July 21, 2014 Posted July 21, 2014 Original rapala floating in either gold or silver. Yes. Quote
Shockwave Posted July 21, 2014 Posted July 21, 2014 Senkos and gold rattlers have always been staples for me as well. Spooks have also been pretty reliable. 1 Quote

tholmes Posted July 21, 2014 Posted July 21, 2014 Jigs. There are so many varieties that one of them will catch almost any kind of fish. Tom 1 Quote
Super User iabass8 Posted July 21, 2014 Super User Posted July 21, 2014 I'd say Senkos (or knockoffs) in 3", 4", 5" sizes. x2 Either a 4in Stick bait or a 1/4oz ball head jig /w a 3" twister tail trub or minnow style body. Pretty much will catch fish anywhere in the country big and small 1 Quote

Super User iceintheveins Posted July 22, 2014 Super User Posted July 22, 2014 Lipless crank or senko. Quote
Global Moderator Bluebasser86 Posted July 22, 2014 Global Moderator Posted July 22, 2014 I'd say Senkos (or knockoffs) in 3", 4", 5" sizes. X3 If you can find a way to catch a bass on a Senko there's either no bass there or you need to take up golf. 2 Quote
gobig Posted July 22, 2014 Posted July 22, 2014 X3 If you can find a way to catch a bass on a Senko there's either no bass there or you need to take up golf. Or you could take up golf to fish the ponds. Quote
Global Moderator Bluebasser86 Posted July 22, 2014 Global Moderator Posted July 22, 2014 Or you could take up golf to fish the ponds. If they'd let us do that around here I might be a lot more interested in golfing. It's a cardinal sin to try to fish a golf course pond around here it seems. Quote

EmersonFish Posted July 23, 2014 Posted July 23, 2014 For the versatility, portability, and fishability you are talking about, in August, my vote is for a finesse jig w/ some small crawfish style trailers. A 3"-4" stick bait or tube would be the other option for me. Quote
jignfule Posted July 24, 2014 Posted July 24, 2014 I'd say Senkos (or knockoffs) in 3", 4", 5" sizes. X4 even though I rarely use them anymore. Quote
