My club fishes night tournament in July and August.  We have had a couple in June and Sept but not many.  We have done the all night 14 hour long deals lately.  Does anyone else fish this long??  We take off at 7pm and weigh in is at 9am.

That's incredibly long. My night tournaments are 10 pm - 6 am.

Heck we caught more fish from 7pm-10pm and 6am-9am.  Guess thats why we do it.  Just makes it tough.  I keep saying I will bring a sleeping bag and take a nap, but never do.

that is crazy long, should be pretty easy then to get a huge sack of fish if your fishing for 14 hours. I fish two night tournaments a year. one is from 6pm-2am and the other is 12 midnight til 8 am. i do the best between 11pm and 4am, i have spots where big smallmouth show up in the middle of the night, i turn off all my lights and completely stay under the radar to avoid spooking fish. i only throw two baits, a black spinner bait and a Carolina rig.

We fished one a couple weeks ago. I am not a fan it takes up the whole weekend. You are up early getting stuff ready on Saturday then sleep all day on Sunday. Trust me momma gets bent when you spend your day off sleeping instead of hanging with the family.

Yes you feel guilty for not being Dad.  Winning helps a little tho.  Brought her home a nice bottle of wine....
