I can't remember the color Senko, but it was a 5", wacky rigged on a size #1 Gamakatsu Wide Gap Finesse Hook.

 

Gear: 6' MF rod, Accurist BC reel (7.1:1) 10 lb Berkley Fireline (mainline), 10 lb test Yo-Zuri Hybrid leader, clear.

 

Caught in thick salad.

I caught mine with a net. It was belly up and I just scooped him up. I think he would have givin me a pretty good fight if he would have been a live.

Largemouth: 7lbs. 1oz.  On a 1oz. jig

 

Smallmouth: 6lbs even, on a 4" green pumpkin finesse worm on a drop shot.

caught mine(10lbs) on a small 1/4oz black buzzbait ironicly. Most of my other big ones i've caught on hollow body frogs.

My PB was 10.2lbs.  I caught it on a zoom lizard, black with blue tail with a 3/16 ounces tungsten bullet weight and 4/0 EWG Gami.  I was using a St. Croix Avid MH x-fast with a Shimano Stradic FI 2500 and 6lb test Yo Zuri Hybrid Ultra Soft.
