aMurderOfCrows Posted July 20, 2014 Posted July 20, 2014 There is no product info with these anymore and they don't have this listed in the manuals on their website. I bought my first baitcaster and am new to using it as well as bass fishing in general. The brake "lever" on the side has "dots", for lack of a better explanation, on one side and no dots or marks on the other end. Which one of these ends indicates where your brake is set? I moved it around while practicing and couldn't really tell any difference in the reels response. Again, I'm brand new to baitcasters so my experience is 0. Thanks. Quote
DaBassMasta Posted July 20, 2014 Posted July 20, 2014 If you are looking a the "dial" then the dots indicate where the brake is set. Counterclockwise to increases brake, clockwise to decrease. Hope that helps, welcome. Tight Lines, MSA Quote
aMurderOfCrows Posted July 20, 2014 Author Posted July 20, 2014 Yea, it does help thanks! I spent a couple hours with it this morning and started to get a much better feel for it. Started to notice differences and found out the dots are the indicator. For a complete noob seems that info would be beneficial in the package. Quote
