Bassin207 Posted July 18, 2014 Posted July 18, 2014 I recently purchased a Lowrance elite 7 HDI unit and am now looking to get a lake map chip for it. I have found that their are many choices and i would like to know which maps have worked the best in units similar to mine, and more importantly which has the most detailed maps and largest selection of maps for the lakes i fish here in southern and central Maine. bobh64 Posted September 25, 2014 Posted September 25, 2014 Most of the map programs get their initial depth from the Gov, I have always been partial to Navionics You can go on their web site for free http://webapp.navionics.com/?lang=en this will show you all the lakes that have depth on them it will be the same on the chip. I also have it n my tablet and phone as a backup too. Quote
