Hogsticker Posted July 16, 2014 Posted July 16, 2014 Available for pre order at TW. Looks like Quantum?? Quote
Super User MCS Posted July 16, 2014 Super User Posted July 16, 2014 Yeah the brake knob and shape look quantum. But the cast control/spool tension knob doesn't nor is the dual breaking system....the one reel looks like pflueger knobs on the handle and the other daiwa.....Looks like they took what they liked from each manufacturer and Frankenstein'd a reel out LOL Quote

TNBassin' Posted July 16, 2014 Posted July 16, 2014 6Seems that even though Boyd got dropped by Abu, he was still a fan of the Gen 3 Revo's gaudy accents. U G L Y reels. Quote
jlwest506 Posted July 16, 2014 Posted July 16, 2014 I've held one, they feel all right. Just expensive for an unproven reel. Quote
STPC Posted July 16, 2014 Posted July 16, 2014 Looks like they are only available w/right-handed retrieve, boo. Quote

TNBassin' Posted July 16, 2014 Posted July 16, 2014 Especially with the Curado I coming in to such overwhelmingly positive reviews. Quote

Megastink Posted July 17, 2014 Posted July 17, 2014 Well, I'll be brave and order one. You never know how good something is until you try it. I think they're attractive, and they seem to have some all the standard features of any other high end casting reel. I'll post a review. Quote
bootytrain Posted July 17, 2014 Posted July 17, 2014 I actually think they look great.. There's just enough color variation to balance things out and none of the monotone color of the 13 reels. Doubt ill buy one though. Quote

JGBassinAL Posted July 17, 2014 Posted July 17, 2014 I won't order one, just in case the quality is the same as their rods. Didn't care for them and snapped too many. They are just white Carrot Stix anyways (that came from someone up top.) Quote
TrapperJ Posted July 17, 2014 Posted July 17, 2014 I love Lews Reels, but my OCD keeps whispering to me to get one to match the Rod Quote
