Balshy Fishing Posted July 15, 2014 Posted July 15, 2014 I uploaded this same pond a few weeks ago but recently, it's covered with duckweed and it's thick. I caught two today in about 3 hours[lol awful] and i'm wondering an effective way to fish and be successful in this. I was using senko's and a top water frog; got both my fish on a senko. It has rained the past few days so the water is relatively muddy as well. Any help is great! Quote
Dyerbassman Posted July 15, 2014 Posted July 15, 2014 Wow....that's a lot of muck. I would stick with the frog. Quote
Balshy Fishing Posted July 16, 2014 Author Posted July 16, 2014 The two frogs I have don't walk right, they don't lay evenly on the water anymore. They position themselves basically vertical Quote
Super User everythingthatswims Posted July 16, 2014 Super User Posted July 16, 2014 Punch with black/blue for muddy water Quote
Super User Bankbeater Posted July 16, 2014 Super User Posted July 16, 2014 I would try a frog or a weightless super fluke. Quote
Super User MarkH024 Posted July 16, 2014 Super User Posted July 16, 2014 LT Hollowbody frog or Rage Toad on top. Jig or t-rigged creature on missed blow ups. Quote
mikekurinka Posted July 23, 2014 Posted July 23, 2014 I wish i could fish that! Damiki air frogs, tackle warehouse they turn over upright every time. Go with black and white Quote
Global Moderator Bluebasser86 Posted July 24, 2014 Global Moderator Posted July 24, 2014 Black and blue Papa Pit boss, weightless. Buzz it across the top then let it fall into any holes. Quote
