calibassin Posted July 15, 2014 Posted July 15, 2014 im going to a lake soon and every time I have been there i never catch anything. It is a decent size reservoir with lots of weeds and grass underwater but since the state stocks rainbows and channel cats that's all people fish for. I know for a fact that there are bass here, but i never catch any. any tips would be appreciated. Thanks in advance. Quote
stk Posted July 15, 2014 Posted July 15, 2014 Best thing would be to talk to the locals and see if you can find a fishing report for the lake you are going to. If it's clear, I'd go with natural looking colors of soft plastics. Quote

MikeinFresno Posted July 15, 2014 Posted July 15, 2014 looks like a higher elev lake...may have spots in it, maybe SM. Drop shot works well when its clear. Quote

Balshy Fishing Posted July 19, 2014 Posted July 19, 2014 I'd go with the ol' favorite, senko's. Green pumpkin' or watermelon. Quote
