BigmouthForever23 Posted July 15, 2014 Posted July 15, 2014 Check out this clip from this film "Bigmouth Forever." It has some pretty cool underwater footage of bass feeding. See the 1:10 mark, that's crazy!https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Znc0wCeUACc Full movie here:https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ybopUwSuiS8 And a clip from the original film:https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PAwaH0vAdtk 2 Quote
Super User BassinLou Posted July 15, 2014 Super User Posted July 15, 2014 Thanks Bigmouth.. Raul also provided us with the same video very recently. It was the "Know your Prey" thread. Seeing big bass feed is a cool thing to see. Quote
Super User fishballer06 Posted July 15, 2014 Super User Posted July 15, 2014 Pretty cool clip. Thanks for sharing! Quote
CDobber Posted July 16, 2014 Posted July 16, 2014 The first book I have read about Bass Fishing was by Uncle Homer, Bass Wisdom. Quote
gramps50 Posted July 17, 2014 Posted July 17, 2014 That was interesting to say the least. Thanks for sharing Quote
Bassun Posted July 17, 2014 Posted July 17, 2014 LOL I actually really liked the Rapala piece at the end. To this day, a J-7 Silver and Black is my absolute go to lure in the creeks when I'm wading. But, I had gotten away from the Rapala knot and have been using a cinch knot for years now. Maybe I should revisit it and see if I don't do even better with that! Quote
bass_masster Posted August 2, 2014 Posted August 2, 2014 That bass at the 1:39 mark was absolutely enormous. Quote
gettin bent Posted August 3, 2014 Posted August 3, 2014 Cool video. Some great insight on feeding. Question for you guys. That video was obvouisly made in the 80's, early 90's. Almost guaranteed he was using mono. With todays braid and other superlines how many times would he of broken some jaws?? Still one of the best videos all time. If ya have a chance watch his full video Quote
Slade House Posted August 3, 2014 Posted August 3, 2014 this is why i have 2 largemouth in a big aquarium, you learn a lot by just watching them underwater. great video , reminds of the old school bass fishing book from the 80's. thanks !! Quote
