calibassin Posted July 15, 2014 Posted July 15, 2014 i want to know some of your exciting moments while you were fishing! For me it was when i caught a 9 pound catfish on 6 pound test(not that exciting, but i was younger.) Quote
Super User Jar11591 Posted July 15, 2014 Super User Posted July 15, 2014 A couple weeks ago I was fishing a small lake with a buddy, and behind our boat we heard a lot of splashing and commotion. We turned around to see a bass, probably 14-16", jump out of the water 5-6 times, with a LARGE northern pike right behind it tryng to grab it. Never found out what happened, but it was one of the coolest things Ive ever seen. Quote
ColdSVT Posted July 15, 2014 Posted July 15, 2014 Was up in Canada fishing when i was watching a Mother duck and four ducklings swimming, there was huge splash and then there were only three ducklings...i thought it was awesome lol 2 Quote

Super User Catch and Grease Posted July 15, 2014 Super User Posted July 15, 2014 I hooked into a lady fish saltwater fishing and it jumped in the boat and barley missed my dads head lol! Quote
Super User SirSnookalot Posted July 15, 2014 Super User Posted July 15, 2014 Lots of exciting moments. Maybe catching my first pike on a flatfish when I was about 6 years old really stands out in my mind, more of an impact than my first marlin. Quote
Global Moderator Bluebasser86 Posted July 15, 2014 Global Moderator Posted July 15, 2014 Every time I catch that first glimpse of the lake when I'm going fishing. Doesn't matter if it's the first time I've been there or the 100th time, I get excited every time 2 Quote
mod479 Posted July 15, 2014 Posted July 15, 2014 Exciting was getting my first 3 frog fish in a tourney this weekend, talk about fun. I am usually a light line kind of guy, but winching largies out of the grass and goo with 50 lb braid was just too much fun and something I dont always get to do where I fish. Boo-ya pad crasher....best 6 bucks I've spent in a while. Quote
Super User fishballer06 Posted July 15, 2014 Super User Posted July 15, 2014 One time in Canada, we were drift fishing in the middle of this large bay. This bay was probably 2 miles around and we were smack dab in the middle of it. When out of no where, we see this little chipmunk swimming across the water right beside the boat. How he made it out to where we were with how many pike and bass were in that lake, I don't know. But I can't imagine he ever made it back to land alive. 2 Quote
