akunk23 Posted July 14, 2014 Posted July 14, 2014 I'm looking into buying an aluminum boat. There's a lot of HP restrictions where I live but I do want at least a 60 HP. If I get another motor like a 9.9 is it possible to still hook that motor up to my steering along with the 60??? Quote
Kevin22 Posted July 14, 2014 Posted July 14, 2014 They make kicker attachments for that specific use. Quote
Crappiebasser Posted July 14, 2014 Posted July 14, 2014 You can link a kicker off your big motor with a link bar or there are kits to hook them up with a hydraulic ram if you have hydraulic steering. I would check with the lakes first and make sure you can launch a boat with a 60hp on it with a kicker. Quote
Super User Dwight Hottle Posted July 14, 2014 Super User Posted July 14, 2014 I have a 250 pro XS linked with a 9.9 pro kicker. Quote
