Yo Zuri Hybrid

Ok on the left 10# yo zuri hybrid on the right 10# (used) Seaguar Senshi they look and feel identical. Ummm isn't hybrid supposed to be FC and Senshi Mono?

Well it's blended florocarbon and a nylon, but who makes the line...idk... I have never heard that its senshi, Idk... Or that it (yo) is made by Seaguar

I've been using YOzuri for years and years now. Its getting harder for me to find and never at the low prices mentioned here! I use #15 for just about everything. Salt and fresh.

The line is a bonded, not coated, blend of fluorocarbon and nylon.

It is manufactured by Yo-Zuri.

I've been trying out 12# on my cranking setup this season and it is a pretty decent line for the price point. I use a San Diego Jam knot.  I've thrown some chatterbaits and swimjigs on it as well and so far I'm pleased.  Not the greatest line, but certainly not a bad line.

Report: While Ive caught a bunch of fish on the Hybrid, I'm not crazy about it for bottom contact. Tried throwing Keitechs on 1/2 and 3/4 oz footballs and dragging them. Couldnt really get a feel for the bottom. Maybe it just comes with constant use. However for shallow running moving baits, ie: spinnerbaits, squares etc. I think this line will excell! It does cast great and memory didnt seem like a issue although I did spray LnL on it the night before each outing.

 

Verdict: Dependable line, good value for the money. It will find its way into my arsenal for more applications.
