TrippyJai Posted July 13, 2014 Posted July 13, 2014 KVD 1.5 Bluegill in this colour, glad I was able to stock up on them. Wish I could find a few of the rattling versions. I would pay double for them. Quote
Super User gulfcaptain Posted July 13, 2014 Super User Posted July 13, 2014 old style plastic worms, Mann's Mannipulater worm, or the Gilraker and slimraker's. Fished those 3 styles of worms when I was a teen and they caught a lot of fish. Or the Gene Larew Salt Craw in Plum w/Silver Claws or Black w/Chartruese Claws....2 colors they don't offer anymore but caught a lot of fish on. Quote
Super User Jeff H Posted July 13, 2014 Super User Posted July 13, 2014 Rapala Shallow Fat Raps, man, not only they are getting hard to find, they are pricey 15+ bones a pop. Oh geez....I agree, only have 2 left. One of my favorite small cranks (#5's) of all time. I also miss Luck E Strike Guido G4 tubes. Quote
greentrout Posted July 13, 2014 Posted July 13, 2014 Heddon's Dying Flutter put some nice bass in my boat. Very nice...they no longer make it...the ones on Ebay are not what I want...Old School basser... Quote
Super User SirSnookalot Posted July 13, 2014 Super User Posted July 13, 2014 Gold hammered redfish key spoon. Couldn't find them for a few years, as of late I did find some and stocked up. I only use them for bass, too many cut offs in salt water so I don't use it there. Quote
Global Moderator Bluebasser86 Posted July 13, 2014 Global Moderator Posted July 13, 2014 What I wouldn't give to go back and buy several 3700 boxes full of the old wiggle warts 1 Quote
flipin4bass Posted July 13, 2014 Posted July 13, 2014 What I wouldn't give to go back and buy several 3700 boxes full of the old wiggle warts I feel your pain. We saw a lot of good lures fall to the wayside after the VMC Corporation began buying out the smaller bait companies. I also miss the balsa Fat Raps, Sz 5&7 in all colors. It was a tough crank that you could crash on the bottom and into logs. I have 30+ FRs, NIB in my collection that I'm holding for my son. Quote
Super User Master Bait'r Posted July 13, 2014 Super User Posted July 13, 2014 There are some wooden swimbaits that I REALLY wish were still made. Tough to find, difficult to swallow the price tag on them in today's market. Bettencourts are pretty cool handmade wooden swimmers and Nate will make it however you ask him to... You probably already know that but just in case . Sort of expensive but not really when you look at some of the JDM swimbaits out there. That dying bluegill they make is so cool. Quote

Super User Bankbeater Posted July 13, 2014 Super User Posted July 13, 2014 Cordell use to have a color that was a cross between white and silver. I have a 1/4 oz spot and a 1/2 oz. big-o in that color. I use to have a 1/3 oz. big-o but lost it years ago. I have never caught as many bass on any crankbait as I did on that thing. No matter what the weather or time of day that bait caught bass. Quote

You're not alone. I, too, like the Mighty Bug-although I wish the head were a little tougher (they like to slide off the hook easily). Quote
