Las Vegas as already set the line at 3 to 1 for the cavaliers winning it all next season. What do you think?

Obviously Cleveland will be better with him but 3 to 1 is a huge over reaction. They still have a lot of holes. Will be interesting to see him playing with Irving, not sure who else they will be able to pick up to provide depth/balance.

Miami is mid pack at best, without Lebron most likely Bosh will leave. Wade was good but he is to beat up to be the man, and they have nothing else. It is interesting to see in all the reports of Lebron and Bosh nothing was being discussed about people pursing Wade who is a free agent also. Sure he will most likely stay due to his history there but you would expect some teams to at least take a shot.

Nope, I didn't see it in him this last series against the Spurs, I don't believe they could come close to winning a championship in Cleveland.

Nice post! Mr. Hottle..

Has there been any new talk about Kevin Love going to Cleveland?  I think if they can get another athletic guy with some good size they could contend with what they have.  It'd be a matter or what they have to give up to bring in a talent alongside LeBron.  7 years was more than sufficent to show you can't do it alone.

I'm very happy for Cleveland. Never liked the move to the Heat, but like LBJ wrote in the SI essay, he grew up. I can respect that. And I really respect the move back.

As for the odds. Too high, IMO. If Gilbert gets the right players around him, like Kevin Love, I think the chance gets closer to Vegas odds.

I do believe it's a great move for him, and the city, of course I also believe he can really be a great leader there instead of wasting time with the internal politics that plaqued the Heat. I think he has a breakout season in leadership!

Lebron liken the Miami experience to the college experience he never had. Said he learned a lot & did a lot of growing up down there.  If Gilbert gives him the right tools he can make it happen.

Don't they also have the first pick in the draft this year?

That could help.

Speedbead, they did and its already done they picked Andrew Wiggins. They will be a good team but not a championship team without some additional help.

Well I wish them the bestt looks like I will be watching Cleveland ball this year. Hey! Now I can wear my King James jersey again!

they need to put it together quick because in 2-3 years the sixers will be right there at the top....mark my words.

I like Lebron and have always respected him for his attitude and selfless play.  I hope he does well, except against the sixers :)

Sad to see him leave, but I understand why he went home. Can't blame the guy at all. So far other than one clown, everybody is being pretty cool about it. Most people aren't surprised and are dealing with it perfectly. I hope the best for him while I feel sorry for him. He is so darn talented that almost unrealistic goals get put on him by fans. Micky sent out a nice message on twitter, Lebron thanked Miami. All's well.

Bosh is about to sign, Wade is waiting to let Riley do some work so he can leave some room for flexibility. We might not have LeBron, but Miami will still put a good team on the floor. Certainly good enough to contend in the East. Miami has a record amount of money to throw around right now. It's, at the moment, looking like they're going after some decent people now. Will be fun to watch how everything shapes up. Personally as a Heat fan, I'm excited to see what happens.

That being said, if Cleveland doesn't win it this year, things could get ugly up there. Sadly most of those fans are already getting ready for a parade. I don't think they remember that the team they have kinda stinks. I'm not sold on Irving yet. Somebody has to be "the guy" on a bad team. They won 30 games last year. The Cavs have an uphill battle right now if they don't sign another big name or two. Even then it could be a stretch to win it all. LeBron is great, but he still needs help.

Going to be an interesting season.

Glad I got to enjoy 4 years of watching an unreal team play together. Shame I won't be able to see him in the team facilities anymore. He never really was a "Miami" guy though. I don't mean to say that he didn't want to be here or play here though. The lifestyle down here just didn't work out for him and his family. Him leaving for the reasons his did is admirable.

While certainly my situation was different from his, when I was gone from the place I called home; once I had the chance to go back I jumped on it. There really is no place like home.

That may be Sam but Cleveland will never win the NBA championship without LeBron.

Cleveland has a great shot of coming out of the East next year but i don't think they can compete with the west unless they do a little more.  Kyrie just got a whole lot better though with LBJ on the wing.....

Yes there is.

According to ESPN, "Minnesota Timberwolves forward Kevin Love is "intrigued" by the idea of being traded to the Cleveland Cavaliers and would commit long-term to the team, a source close to the situation told ESPN.com's Marc Stein."

Personally, Cleveland looks strong right now. However, can they win a championship? My answer is "no". They have to hurdle through the Pacers which I don't see happening next year.

Please...football....start

this!! As a South Floridian I really hate seeing all these "new" heat fans. Will be interesting to see how many people still come out to see the game now that lebron is gone. As for wade, his knees are shot. Bosh has committed to the heat for a 4 year deal. I wouldn't say they're out of the picture. Danny granger is supposed to sign with the heat Aswell. But man. Can't wait til football. Goooooo phins

Pacers are done in my opinion.....their heart was ripped out in last year's playoffs unless of course hibbert remembers that he is a 7 footer that can be dominant again

Pacers done? Maybe, I think another near full season can help them, they had some awesome games this year, gotta dig deep if they wanna win though, next season is their chance.

Cleveland needs to fill some major holes in their roster. Maybe Cleveland could sign melo too.

The Cavs won't when a championship this year or next year. They have to get through the Pacers, Wizards, Raptors, Nets, and the Bulls will be one of the best teams in the East with Carmelo. Then if the Cavs do make the Finals they have to get past a team from the West like the Spurs, Thunder, Warriors, and one team that will be good in a few years is the Trail Blazers with Lillard and Aldridge. If Love goes to the Cavs it will be a differant picture but as of right know the Cavs will have to really work to be one of the best teams in the East

And now melo is going back to New York.

Lebron going to Cleveland is the greatest gift they could have received.  The Pacer's are young.  Lebron can cry and flop in another city.  He is the best talent in the league but he travels and fouls so much the refs can't call them all.

As far as Hibbert goes, the guy was done half way through the season.  He was fatigued.  The more tired he got, the more his immaturity blossomed.   Let's see what happens when Lance Stephenson goes to Cleveland to play Lebron.  He has talent and strength but his brain is made of straw.

If any one has not see it.....  Why Lebron went to Miami...  I could not find the original, sorry.
