Super User KU_Bassmaster. Posted May 4, 2006 Super User Posted May 4, 2006 Something like "Q & A With the ReelMech" ;D ;D ;D Seems like the past couple weeks are so there has been an usually large amount of questions directed your way and you have taken the time to answer each and everyone of them ....... thoroughly. You take the time to answer each question like it was your best friend asking for your help. That is so admirable. Tell you the truth, I don't see how you get any work done. :) I try to read each one of them and try and learn a little something here and there. I guess I just want to say thanks for being such a nice guy and for being such a great asset to this site. ****And in the words of ReelMech .......... Tight Lines !! Quote
Guest DavidGreen Posted May 4, 2006 Posted May 4, 2006 KU_Bassmaster, ReelMech Needs His Own SectionOh no not enough time for that...... But thank you for those kind words. MyKeyBe Posted May 12, 2006 Posted May 12, 2006 Man, I need to read the tacklemaking section more often. Sorry this is a few days late. When I started out I picked a quote for my business cards and it was placed in the logo of my website when it went online that I truly live buy. "Dedicated To The Care And Maintenance Of Fishing Tackle" The keyword here is Dedicated I also thank you. I really think ReelMech is one of the unsung hero's of this board. There is a big difference between being dedicated to your business and being dedicated to your sport. You are 110% dedicated to both. Who own's a business and gives free advice anymore? Not many people, I can tell you that. I am willing to bet as your partership with BR grows, so will your customer base. Not because you advertise here and not because of what Billy bob bo jim bucky said about your great service. It will be because of customer service. Good service is hard to find. Here you are providing it to people that aren't even customer's, yet, and for free. I know where I will send my reel's when they need a fixin. It really is the little things that count. I remember 6-7 months back I was looking for a new reel and I know who set me straight. I know ReelMech took the time to look up a schematic on a reel he had never serviced and said "Yeah, it should be good. It uses a lot of parts that the other reels do, they are good reels, and parts will be available if you need them." Granted, it maybe took 2 mins. to look up the schematic and confirm that it had part numbers that where familiar but that was 2 mins. not spent working on a reel that someone paid to have fixed. It was a little thing that meant a lot to me. It was good service for someone that was not a customer, who was buying a new reel and would most likely not be a customer for at least a year or two. I jumped on that reel and I hate it! ;D Just kidding. So far so good. Thanks again, Dave. Quote
