Super User WIGuide Posted July 9, 2014 Super User Posted July 9, 2014 I wish they would have let us watch this video when I was getting trained on fork lift! Quote
Super User SirSnookalot Posted July 10, 2014 Super User Posted July 10, 2014 Been in many facilities like that one but it did bring back memories. We had hilos, bobcats, jacks and all kinds of material handling equipment in the company I worked for before heading out on my own. Earlier 70's inner city buildings no one had a fork lift license or really any training, no hard hats and not much in the way of safety. We had a hilo driver, never saw a better one any where ever, he was fantastic drunk and even better sober which was rare. Sammy (Kent) would break in the building in the middle of the night to work his drunk off by loading semis. In those days the alarms were foil on the windows, he just took the bricks out of the wall crawled in, lol. Being an alcoholic he had pint bottles of Kesslers stashed everywhere, we found them and pissssed in them, he never knew the difference. We had a truck driver named Cliff, as he was paid in cash no knew his last name, his phone number was scribbled on a Playboy centerfold in the shipping office, he fondly was referred to as Cliff on the titte. As slipshod as this sounds this was a 1 owner company started in the 1930's doing 8 figures a year. Quote
