Super User Catch and Grease Posted July 8, 2014 Super User Posted July 8, 2014 Spooks or buzzbaits probably Quote
einscodek Posted July 9, 2014 Posted July 9, 2014 you could really make a topwater cigar scare the heck out of everything in the lake if you really wanted to Quote
Super User AK-Jax86 Posted July 9, 2014 Super User Posted July 9, 2014 I would say a double buzzbait Quote

STPC Posted July 9, 2014 Posted July 9, 2014 Here comes a question from a clueless one, what is a double buzzbait? Imagine a kitchen mixer coming across the water surface, but twice as annoying and without cake batter flying everywhere. 5 Quote
Balshy Fishing Posted July 9, 2014 Posted July 9, 2014 LOL, okay so i'll bite[no pun intended]. All I have is a Yo Zuri Shashimi Pencil, two frogs and two poppers -- is a buzzbait a quality thing to get for topwater? I want to experience this topwater explosion! lol Quote

Super User iceintheveins Posted July 9, 2014 Super User Posted July 9, 2014 A double buzzbait makes more commotion than any other, though a big propbait comes close. Quote
Global Moderator Bluebasser86 Posted July 9, 2014 Global Moderator Posted July 9, 2014 Whopper Plopper is pretty noisy. Deps Buzzjet is a loud, noisy topwater. Woodchoppers make a bunch of commotion. Seems like I remember seeing a buzzbait with 3 different blades? 2 next to each other like a normal double buzz and then another one out in front of the whole thing. Can't remember who made it or what it was called but I bet that sounded like a trolling motor prop on the surface. Quote
Balshy Fishing Posted July 9, 2014 Posted July 9, 2014 Which do you recommend is the best buzzbait? I don't own any and I'm going to go buy one today. Whopper Plopper is pretty noisy.
