MT2 Posted July 8, 2014 Posted July 8, 2014 Im curious what you guys think about using these 2 Daiwa rods that come with the Regular Taper/Tip....for crankbaits? We all know that Randy Howell used the 7' ML to throw his crankbait to win the Classic. Ive also noticed that Daiwa has several of these rods with that taper. Im looking to buy one and actually knowing how much I throw a crankbait on going with the 7'2 MHR Lexa model and saving $50 as far as line size and everything it matches up with the 7' 1" MHR Tatula that Daiwa has labeled as the cranking model. Anyways just thought Id see if I could get some opinions on this before I buy. Quote
5fishlimit Posted July 9, 2014 Posted July 9, 2014 You get a lot more rod with the Tatula rods for not much more money. They really are spectacular rods. Quote
