in one of the recent magazines(can't remeber which one) there is an article that the guy talks about using a 10" inch ribbon tail worm with a "floating tail".  it never tells the specific brand..

i'm not familiar with any 10" ribbon tail worm that has a floating tail...

anyone??

thanks..

I'm a big fan of the 10" YUM Mitey Worm myself. I rig it on a 1/8 oz. weighted swimbait hook. Cast it out. Let it sink to the bottom. Then VERY slowly retrieve it along the bottom. Man, does it ever work! :)

Lol.. I just read the article last night. It was Bassmaster magazine. The article was about Terry Scroggins. I was commenting to a friend of mine this morning about how the article did not mention the brand either. I went to BPS today, and I got a pack of Charlie worms 10" ribbontails. On the package it says a high floater. Let see how this worm works out.

Hey bassin is addicting, I finally was able to use the Charlie worms yesterday, and yes they do float. Similar to how the article depicted. Unfortunately, I didn't catch anything but I wanted to report back to you. Good luck if you grab a bag. ;)
