JKarbo214 Posted July 6, 2014 Posted July 6, 2014 I am looking for the best jig head to bounce a Zoom Super Fluke off the bottom of a local river. Any suggestions? Quote
Cgrinder Posted July 6, 2014 Posted July 6, 2014 Siebert Outdoors makes a ball-head jig that has a good hook. They're available plain or painted. Quote
Super User Scott F Posted July 6, 2014 Super User Posted July 6, 2014 Rivers usually mean rocky bottoms. If this is what your river looks like, ball heads would not be my first choice. They just snag too easily. My choice is to use Charlie Brewer Slider heads. They come through the rocks easily and don't snag nearly as often. The weight you use depends on how fast the current is running. Quote
