papajoe222 Posted July 5, 2014 Posted July 5, 2014 She outfishes me almost every time out, but won't admit that my great guide service is the reason. 7 Quote

flyingmonkie Posted July 6, 2014 Posted July 6, 2014 That's awesome! I've gotta figure out a way to get my wife out there with me for more than 30 minutes. 1 Quote
Global Moderator Bluebasser86 Posted July 6, 2014 Global Moderator Posted July 6, 2014 One of my favorite pictures of my wife. We were fishing a Bassresource KC area get together as a team when she caught her PB smallmouth that weighed 3.96 pounds on a tiny Luck E Strike crankbait with a light action rod and 6lb test. It fought forever and jumped so many times I never thought we'd get that fish in the boat. She was so excited and happy to catch it she spent the next 10 minutes calling everyone and sending pictures to them. 1 Quote
ATX Posted July 6, 2014 Posted July 6, 2014 Mine would be my 13 year old dog. She never complains, enjoys my singing and is always ready to get on the water. I haven't been taking her when it's hot now she's old but early morning and late evening trips she'll be in the boat. Quote
FrogFreak Posted July 8, 2014 Posted July 8, 2014 My wife recently started fishing with me. Here's a pic of her first LMB caught with a t-riggged purple worm (her favorite color). Quote
Super User Master Bait'r Posted July 9, 2014 Super User Posted July 9, 2014 Way to go OP! Been teaching the gf a few things lately as well, she is a total beginner but learning fast. This is a shot of her PB last summer. Quote
EmersonFish Posted July 9, 2014 Posted July 9, 2014 My wife doesn't fish at all, and she has no desire to start. Probably works out better for me. We have 4 kids at home. If she loved fishing, it would be hard for me to say; "See you later honey! I'm going to be out fishing all day while your here with the children." Not sure that would go over well. As it is, I think she's happy for me to get out of the house and out of her way once in a while. 1 Quote
