FirstnameLastname Posted July 2, 2014 Posted July 2, 2014 Let's get a conversation going I'm bored. I like those cool summer evenings, no humidity, no cloud cover. You all? Quote
Super User Bankbeater Posted July 2, 2014 Super User Posted July 2, 2014 Cloudy, humid, temp in the mid 70's, and just enough wind to put a ripple on the water. Quote
Kevin Beachy Posted July 2, 2014 Posted July 2, 2014 cool summer evenings with bluebirds sky's! Quote
nascar2428 Posted July 2, 2014 Posted July 2, 2014 My favorite condition for bass is from 5:30am to 8:30am, cloudy to partly cloudy. Quote
Super User Jar11591 Posted July 2, 2014 Super User Posted July 2, 2014 Dusk, warm and humid, zero wind. Quote
Mainebass1984 Posted July 2, 2014 Posted July 2, 2014 Spring or fall : light wind, overcast, light rain/mist, 60 degrees. Summer: at night during a full moon with light winds temps on the 50's and 60's Quote
PondHopper96 Posted July 2, 2014 Posted July 2, 2014 Summer time heavy weeds, cloud cover, 80 degrees! Quote
NathanW Posted July 2, 2014 Posted July 2, 2014 Around here you cannot bet those summer mornings from 5am til 8:30am on 100º days. Temps will be in the 60º-70º degree range, no wind, clear skies, no boat traffic. Best of all I can usually get about 12 pounds in the boat before I head home for a full day of summer fun with the family. Quote
Mccallister25 Posted July 2, 2014 Posted July 2, 2014 Cool summer mornings with an overcast and a little fog on the water. Just enough wind to put a ripple on it too. Quote
ec1 Posted July 2, 2014 Posted July 2, 2014 Most important thing is a little bit of wind and chop in the water. The wind I believe is moreso for dampening any trolling motor noises. Quote
Super User Catch and Grease Posted July 2, 2014 Super User Posted July 2, 2014 Cool summer mornings with an overcast and a little fog on the water. Just enough wind to put a ripple on it too. I'm about the same Quote
jigabooyah Posted July 2, 2014 Posted July 2, 2014 Late spring, early fall and constant steady rain. These for me are good crank bait days. Quote
Super User geo g Posted July 2, 2014 Super User Posted July 2, 2014 Without a doubt, low 70's, low humidity, partial cloud cover, winds 5 to 10, water temp low 70's, fishing with a good friend. In south Florida that could be anytime from late November to early April. Why the rest are freezing, we are in utopia. Quote
hubshooter Posted July 2, 2014 Posted July 2, 2014 Middle of spring, partly cloudy with a front moving in, temps in the high 70s. Those kind of days make me want to quit my day job! Quote
Super User Catt Posted July 2, 2014 Super User Posted July 2, 2014 Hot August night with a full moon on the horizon, temps in the mid-70s, winds light & variable from the south west, mostly overcast with moon peeking out occasionally. Deep water structure, outside grass line, in 15-25' of water. Texas rigged something & a Jig-n- Craw! 1 Quote
OntarioFishingGuy Posted July 3, 2014 Posted July 3, 2014 Early summer, 3:00 in the morning, nice and cool, flat glass water, little bit of fog, throwing jitterbugs off a dock with my dad. Quote
FrogFreak Posted July 3, 2014 Posted July 3, 2014 Summer mornings, dead calm, a little fog. Humid but not hot yet. Pitching a popper or a frog to weed lines, lilly pads or lay downs. Waiting for the ripples to disappear, pop pop and then the explosion! Quote
Super User Maxximus Redneckus Posted July 3, 2014 Super User Posted July 3, 2014 Early spring 60 degs water temp the.same and cloudy Quote
Super User Oregon Native Posted July 4, 2014 Super User Posted July 4, 2014 Winter days with partial overcast and air temps about 45 to 50. Oh Yeah Quote
Super User FishTank Posted July 6, 2014 Super User Posted July 6, 2014 Upper 70's, low humidity and just enough mix of sun and clouds to make it interesting. Quote
Super User Jeff H Posted July 6, 2014 Super User Posted July 6, 2014 2nd day post severe cold front. light winds from north, bluebird sky on a ultra clear water lake. I like having to break out the finesse gear and the challenge of mega tough conditions (tiny strike windows) Quote
Fish Murderer 71 Posted July 6, 2014 Posted July 6, 2014 anytime that wind isn't blowing over 15 mph or freezing outside! Quote
