Just picked up this lure from pass pro coming back from penn. I haven't gotten a chance to use it, but I will by the end of this week. I was just wondering if you guys have any experience with it? Im not sure if im just the "target audience" for arbogasts marketing, But with the size, shape, buzz effect, and the rattle, It seems like it would be hard not to attract fish with this lure.

What do you guys think?

Finally got it out to the pond today. Worked like a charm. Not to go against anyones opinion or experience, but when I threw this thing in a pond that was completely covered by a layer of green film (we all know summer ponds like that) It was like a magnet.

The only thing I will say is that I hooked up with 4 fish, and one was able to toss the hook. 75% isnt terrible.

I have one and didn't like it for two reasons. 1. It gives a lot of leverage against the small hooks if it is not inside the fishes mouth. 2. It makes too much wake with a moderate retrieve. It might be OK for night fishing if you want a lot of wake.

It would honestly be a lot better with treble hooks, but then again you wouldn't be able to fish it in the thicker places... Idk I feel they could remake it and improve it alit

I've tried that thing many times over the years during the day, have yet to catch a fish on it. Went night fishing a few times and that thing slayed em!

for day time, Ive figured out my own method of how to fish this lure. Throw it as far as you can down the side of a bank or down the side of heavy cover, put your rod tip down and retrieve it as quickly as you can, and try to make a huge wake. then throw it back to the same spot and reduce your retrieval speed by about 30 percent. just keep throwing it back to the same general area and try different speeds. Its worked for me so far
