does anyone know where i can get those rubber bands that hold skirts on spinner and buzz baits? i need like 2 of them but no one sells just them.

lol guy at cabelas told me i had to buy the skirt and band, they didnt sell just the band/ collar ok ill run to bp then

You will need an expander of some type also.  They make a few different styles.  Typically they come in packs of 100 for the bands.

For replacement skirts, my friend (and now I) have taken to using very small zip ties.  They aren't perfect but they hold a lot better than most rubber bands and won't soften/melt either.

Small quick tie works. Check Barlows tackle online store for skirt collars, they also require a tool to install. Very difficult to reinstall a skirt with a broken collar....replace the skirt.

Floral wire and wrap it twice. Twist the ends tight and cut off the excess. I do that with most everything with a skirt that isn't hand tied already. I can't remember what size wire I have 20 gauge maybe.

Realizing it is 4 yrs after topic opened and searching for the name...the names for this tiny piece of rubberized hell is called a watch gasket or micro rubber...you need an expander or a rubber ring gun because they are tiny fingers are just not going to do the trick...
