MichiganFishing1997 Posted June 30, 2014 Posted June 30, 2014 Will storing your rods with a very slight bend in the tip hurt them? I got the rod organizer from TW that lets you hang the rods on along the length of the ceiling in your car, and it works great. Although some of my longer rods have a tiny tiny bend in the end of them at the front. Will this harm them? They will almost always be in here. Christian Quote
5fishlimit Posted July 1, 2014 Posted July 1, 2014 I lean all my rods in the corner of my closet, and haven't seen any issues. The summer heat inside the car might be a concern though. Quote
timsford Posted July 1, 2014 Posted July 1, 2014 Id say it probably wouldnt hurt unless they are fiberglass. Id take them out or roll the windows down if it was hot out though just in case. I inherited some old fiberglass rods that were my grandpas when he passed away and they all have a slight bend to them that wont go away from sitting propped against the tip in a storage building for a couple years Quote
MichiganFishing1997 Posted July 1, 2014 Author Posted July 1, 2014 They wont be in there all the time, and my windows are usually open. But I dont want to have to worry about it if theyre in my car all day while im at work or anythimg. Quote
