I really like using my megabass orochi x4 destruction for frogs and it's the best I've used so far.

Best frogging rod around?

Popular thread these days. There are 2 ongoing threads already going on about this topic.

"Best" is relative term. Someone's best is another anglers average. There are  many great choices out there. If others members chime in, you will quickly see how the choices are numerous. Take your pick: Dobyns, St.croix, Ducketts, Omens, Tatula, Shimano, that's just to name a few off the top of my head. Go see and handle some rods and help narrow down what's "best" for "you". What's your budget? That will automatically narrow down the playing field. Good luck with your choice. ;)

Ive used the Quantum Dean Rojas rod for awhile(a red model), and a Duckett....Switched to a Tatula frog rod this year....depending on what cover your fishing I think has alot to do with what rod will work best for you. I think thats why you see so many using 7'-7'9" rods and almost a split between MH and H action rods....I think the best frog rod on the market is the one that fits your primary areas of frogging. I also found for me micro guides and frogging dont mix, maybe its how I hold my rod or the way I twitch....but my line seemed to catch the guides enough to make me ALMOST want to stop frogging.

2 rods quickly come to mind that are great frog rods close to that range. 7ft Avid, MH or a Dobyns Savvy 735. Still leaving you $$ for a nice reel too.

I use a Lightning Rod Shock 7' MH action. I've got it paired up with a Shimano Citica.

Dobyns 736. Haven't found one I've like more. Especially in and around heavy grass. If you're going to be in lighter vegetation the 735 is a d**n good frog rod as well.
