Mbirdsley Posted April 28, 2019 Posted April 28, 2019 Is a Christy critter considered a brush hog? I’ve had very good success on them especially the black and blue flake, and green pumpkin colors. I’ve only tried t- rigging them so far. Quote
HeyCoach Posted April 28, 2019 Posted April 28, 2019 I’ve caught a few on black baby brush hogs skipping them under docks. I have a bag of green pumpkin magic babies but haven’t been out since I picked them up. Quote
river-rat Posted April 29, 2019 Posted April 29, 2019 I use the Brush Hog during the summer and winter as a backup to a jig. I'll use the Baby Brush Hog year round. Quote
ItsHardwick Posted April 29, 2019 Posted April 29, 2019 Caught my pb on a sprayed grass baby brush hog so I’m a bit partial. Quote
Super User bowhunter63 Posted April 29, 2019 Super User Posted April 29, 2019 Have had more luck on the baby brush hog. Quote
Gorris317 Posted April 30, 2019 Posted April 30, 2019 I fished with a brush hog today and think I would like the baby brush hogs better. The full size one seems a little too large, was looking for something similar to a lizard in profile for pitching and flipping. Quote
jwwoodjr Posted May 1, 2019 Posted May 1, 2019 I use both depending on the situation. The baby one gets through cover better when flipping. The full size is good for Carolina rigs. I also like the baby when flipping behind someone else. Quote
