Super User bigbill Posted June 28, 2014 Super User Posted June 28, 2014 My son dragged me out of bed to go fishing. He purchased me this giant comfy chair for father's day. I put my tackle box on a rock near the chair and just enjoyed chucking lures. I was in heaven being back out fishing. I'm going for PT on my lower back and it's helping a little. I accept it is what it is and need to go fishing more. I used hard body swimbaits and they look really good. My point is if you have your health pour it on and enjoy life. My spinal surgeon said I got all the arthritis and spinal stenosts at one time. It was like flipping a light switch. With luck like mine maybe I need to go to the casino? I'm not giving up yet I still have bass fishing and that new state record to catch. God bless, bigbill BTW, The new LEWS speed stick rods feel awesome. Quote
Super User F14A-B Posted June 28, 2014 Super User Posted June 28, 2014 Do you have a state record? What fish? Quote
Super User bigbill Posted June 28, 2014 Author Super User Posted June 28, 2014 The state record I'm after is for large mouth bass. It's 12lbs. 14oz. I'm up to 10lbs right now. I had bigger on my line but lost them. I'm so close. I see bigger bass swim by me at the droppoffs. I enjoy going fishing if I break the record that's a plus. Quote

Loop_Dad Posted June 29, 2014 Posted June 29, 2014 I have lower back problem, but it is nothing compared to yours. (My doc said my back looks normal for my age.) Good luck to you, bill. Quote
