Where I am working at in the power plant there is a big area covered in water. They have been attempting to pump it out, but it pretty much stays there regardless. Well I'm not real keen on my pant legs getting wet so I tuck them into my boots. Thanks to the massive amount of heat and humidity down there. (Its a coal fired steam plant) My leg got rubbed raw by my boots with the pant tucked in. This was two weeks ago. I scratched the bejeebers out of it and ended up making it worse. Well I tucked my pants halfway through the day last friday and apparently some of that water had gotten on my pant legs. My entire calf's from the knee down broke out in a rash. We figured it was heat rash due to the humidity and heat. HA! It got progressively worse until last night when my legs started burning. Went to the doc today and apparently I am disease ridden. He informed me that I somehow managed to infect my legs. He prescribed me an antibiotic, and anti bacterial medicine, and a steroid. I ended up getting a cortisone shot and a steroid injection while at the Doc's. Both my feet have swelled tremendously, to the point I can't even slide my sandals over them. This absolutely sucks. Only upside is I can now refer to myself as a DRW "Disease Ridden Hore". So there is a silver lining to it I guess.

I hope you get better soon. Post pics if infection intensifies and starts to drain.

Try lava soap it kills rashes. At least sweat and heat rashes. I think it's the lye in the soap.

I could be. Some of the symptoms are the same. I could so deal with having a tail! That would be completely awesome!

Don't take such an infection lightly.  What you are describing can get serious in a hurry, as in septic, which can be fatal.

My sister-in-law had her legs turn red and swell.  It was spreading rapidly, and burning, so she finally asked my wife, an RN to take a look at it.

My wife immediately took her to the ER.  She was admitted and antibiotics were administered intravenously.  They dosed her up with three different meds to get it under control.  It took almost a week in the hospital before she was discharged.

Another day might have been too late.

By the way, your boots are too tight.  You need to be able to kick them off, even with your pants tucked in.  I learned that from my decades of being a commercial lobsterman.

You need to get an alligator tail like , fear and loathing . Your neighbors will not think twice about inviting you over . As a matter of fact you need to go fishing with it .

Well she could be blind. Then you would figure the stank would at least scare her off. I just think she loves him for his money. I have a strong gut feeling. That Raider is a secret millionaire. He is just pulling all of our chains.

I don't think so. I snapped this pic down in B'ham this morning. You cant see it in the pic but there is a Raiders logo on the back of his jacket.

Ughhhh. 2 more dang shots at my follow up visit today. This six. My butt feels like a dang pin cushion. I get to go back Tuesday for another follow up visit. Probably end up with another two shots. I did ask the nurse if she liked my butt. She said I got a cute butt.
