dpeels37354 Posted June 22, 2014 Posted June 22, 2014 Anyone tried these? I'm thinking about picking one up. Quote
LMB KING Posted June 22, 2014 Posted June 22, 2014 I have the Baby shad 2.5", 4" shad and the 6". the most versatile one is the 4" shad. I have the slow sinking ones but the fast sinking ones are better IMO Quote
fisherrw Posted June 23, 2014 Posted June 23, 2014 My friend has one it's an awesome swim bait! Quote
Global Moderator Bluebasser86 Posted June 23, 2014 Global Moderator Posted June 23, 2014 Wasn't a fan of any of the BBZ baits I tried. Obviously they work, just not for me. If I was going to try another, I'd go with a floater, but it may not see much action because I like the MS Slammers so much. Quote
Super User Crestliner2008 Posted June 23, 2014 Super User Posted June 23, 2014 I've had some success with them in "wicked perch". I have the slow sink version, but would prefer the fast sink so that I can control the depth better on retrieve. But, as with all swimbaits, they are a low percentage bait. That is, they are not for numbers, but for size. You have put time in on any of them in order to be successful. Hard to do when your partner is catching fish! Quote
Primus Posted June 24, 2014 Posted June 24, 2014 I like the 6" BBZ, like Crestliner my favorite color is Wicked Perch. I've also have caught a few on the 8" but they don't seem to be any bigger so I usually stick with the 6" size . Quote
