Amarley Posted June 19, 2014 Posted June 19, 2014 I'm finding stacks of fish suspended between 10-18 ft at my home lake right now, and am having trouble catching them. Only catching 1 or 2 per trip. I've been throwing the kitchen sink at them, swimbaits, spinnerbaits, and crank baits. What else should I be trying or what has worked for you guys? Quote
TNBassin' Posted June 19, 2014 Posted June 19, 2014 For suspended bass here, we long line some 6Xds and try and plow it right through the school. Works great here on Douglas Lake, even though this lake is notorious for catching tough suspending bass. Flutter spoons also work pretty well too. Quote
Super User WRB Posted June 19, 2014 Super User Posted June 19, 2014 Try 1/8 oz dart head jig with 4" to 5" finesse worms w/ curl tails or 3/16 oz fish head jig with 3" to 4" kick tail minnow. You can dead stick these at the depth the bass are holding. Tom 1 Quote

sarcazmo Posted June 20, 2014 Posted June 20, 2014 Flutter spoon could provide a look they haven't seen before, not many people seem to use em. 1 Quote
MacP Posted June 20, 2014 Posted June 20, 2014 Drop shot, big worms and 5XD and 6XDs are what we're catching em on up here. I'm finding fish from 9-22'. Quote
