BadBassWV Posted June 19, 2014 Posted June 19, 2014 I never hear anybody talk about these reels much. Anybody fishing these? Quote
TNBassin' Posted June 19, 2014 Posted June 19, 2014 You're in Abu/Lew's/Shimano/Daiwa country on these forums. Very few Quantum/Aredent/Pfleuger guys but they do exist. Quote
Super User Raul Posted June 19, 2014 Super User Posted June 19, 2014 You're in Abu/Lew's/Shimano/Daiwa country on these forums. Very few Quantum/Aredent/Pfleuger guys but they do exist. It´s the Shimano/Daiwa/Abu/Lew´s country, in that order please. 2 Quote
BadBassWV Posted June 19, 2014 Author Posted June 19, 2014 I think you could add one more the Bass Pro Qualifer crowd. 1 Quote

sarcazmo Posted June 19, 2014 Posted June 19, 2014 Are they still made in the US? I thought they were but may have changed to over seas production. I always thought the older ones were overpriced, and the new ones look like lews/abu/ etc. Quote
BadBassWV Posted June 19, 2014 Author Posted June 19, 2014 From what I've read I think they are in China Now. Quote
Delaware Valley Tackle Posted June 19, 2014 Posted June 19, 2014 The Ardent reels I've worked on I've found to be heavy and not very refined. The "Flipping" reel with no level wind or drag is gimmicky. I want a working drag on any reel that goes on one of my rods Quote
LMB KING Posted June 19, 2014 Posted June 19, 2014 people say that they are made in china but the other day i went to bass pro and looked at one and it still say made in USA. the new ones that just came out Apex series are made in china but the Edge reels are still made in USA. Quote
