Good morning, I just wanted to let guys know about the LEWS BB1. I'm really new to baitcasters, I have a shimano chronarch , pflueger patriarch and a bps Johnny Morris sig. I wanted something easy to throw, someone told me about LEWS so I got the BB1 (WOW) I forgot to go and adjust the brakes, all I did was adjust the tension knob. I was casting like a pro other people were noticing how close I was dropping bait so close to other side of bank effortlessly. I'm telling them it's the reel, it is a great reel

They are good selling reels but made in the same factory as Abu, not their own. Some Parts interchange I'm told.

Just out of curiosity what is the difference between the TP and Team Gold. I love my TP's and I wanted to try the Team Gold but it just seems to me that it is a "prettier" TP for $40 more

Aluminum side plates instead of graphite, and a much more durable finish, are the main difference, but some parts use a better alloy and make it a little smoother, like some say, giving it an empty feeling. Yes so smooth it feels like your not turning the gears and spool. You will not be sorry. To those who believe the all reels are the same from this factory, do not know how customers order reels. Every Company getting reels from Doyo are telling them the specs, materials, and tolerances they require for each different reel. Those parts to build those reels come from many suppliers. This is like saying a Citca is a Chronarch???? Other than sharing frames, that's about it!
