i know there is other people on here holding out bigfoot stories for fear of ridicule, i just know it. especially since the crowd is outdoorsmen(and womens) types lol

Yep, the OP's comment about the rocks lined up at the door told me all I needed to know.  I've learned the hard way that's the alpha male squatch's way of telling the boys "this is MY b, keep away".  When I awoke to the same situation years ago I was advised to move far, far away.  It was one of those forks in the road of life, and by standing my ground, set into motion a series of events that I struggle with to this day.  Drinking eases the pain and helps me forget but after nearly 40 years you'll never find me without saltpeter cured beef jerky in my hand and skunk musk soaked buffalo hide pants strapped up tight.

I have a camp deep in the green mountains in Vermont away from the farms that are near me.  I have national forest on two sides of my land. Every time I cook my bacon cheeseburgers I get something BIG screaming at us.  It's so loud and intense it has to be huge. When we hike it walks parallel with us. I can hear branches breaking from up on the mountain top. When we stop it stops. When we go it goes.

I contacted the BFRO tv show people and they sent a rep up there. He found two possible bigfoot beds above my camp.

A predator would stalk you from behind. This thing watches us. I'm not afraid of nothing on the planet. I been as close as 10' from black bears in the tall grass.

I have lots more stories of encounters I've owned the land since '86. I hunt with a 338win mag.

I wonder how much a full length Bigfoot fur coat would sell for...

Posted

I've been mainly talking to red earth about this in a private message chat. The same stuff keeps happening but I did get a dead snake on my porch that was stretched and pointed right at my door and I had left. A bucket of baseballs out with the lid on and when I got back from a weekend in Atlanta the lid was back on but some baseballs were gone. I went back in the woods with my friend a looking for anything and we found a couple of the baseballs next to a dear carcass that was probably 2 days old but all the good meat was gone. There were some spots I could've gotten a little meat form body it was mostly picked clean. It wasn't from a poacher because number one, there weren't best cuts like it was field dressed it was basically torn and a poacher would take the whole thing in my mind.

I haven't seen ole bigfoot yet but I have sent some calls like on Finding Bigfoot and I got some possible wood knocks and some load deep moans. I also heard a tree get pushed over and fall to the ground which echoed through the whole area so loudly last night while I was outside playing guitar. I went and checked this morning and found a tree that had been punched over and snapped. It was roughly 30 feet long and about the width of my leg and it looked like a super healthy tree that just ft broke about 4 feet up form the ground. I'm also missing a baseketball that I put out last night.

I'll keep updating on this because it appears it's more active again.

Talk soon

When you decide you want Mr. Squatch gone from your woods you know where to find me. I have no issues getting rid of him. :)

PS.

Keep updating us. This is quite interesting.

If you were in the woods hunting for a squatch, and another, unknown to you, hunter was also hunting him, would you be afraid that he would see you and mistake you for a squatch?

I bet there's a sasquatch forum somewhere, and they're debating how much a raider fur coat would fetch..

What caliber rifle would you say I could drop him with? I want to be able to just drop him so I don't have to lug his fat butt back to the truck. And so the video on Fox News looks better too. Haha

.338 Lapua Magnum, .338 Win Mag, 7mm Mag, any large caliber rifle would work I think. 50BMG with Raufoss rounds would be preferable to though. Nothing says exploding meat, quite like a tungsten tipped HEIAP round. :)

As swoll up as my feet are right now I would worry. I was debating tracking around bare foot for a little while to see if I can cause some sightings by the prints I would leave.

Those would have to be some BAD squatch to take this Raider down. Heck I'll make a satalite call and have Chewbacca reinforce me. It would be an epic battle of fur!

Go buy a goat and tie it up out back, just to rule out a Chupacabra!

Or sacrifice it on home plate at Wrigley so the Cubs can have a winning season

Go get a Mosin-Nagant, a Mauser, or a M1903, add a shotgun, and you'll be better prepared for dang near any wild critters than the majority of Americans.

There are newer, better choices out there, but all that's gravy.

This thread has turned from the jack links big foot to the goat scene from jurassic park , However I still approve of this idea .

Sounds like school's out, and some bored kid(s) are messing with you.  Get a deer camera, set it up, and see who it is.

Exactly what I was thinking.

Now guys, let's not go jumping to conclusions.

While I'm not saying it's not bored teenagers, let's exhaust the Yeti angle before we get crazy about the whole thing.

nuffsaid, has had some interesting things going on around his place, and i dont think it can be attributed to kids or common animals. he got gifted a snake from whats most likely a bigfoot, that is totally awesome. its bigfoots way of saying thanks for the apples and watermelon. next time he may give a squirrel or rabbit. the more and more i read and think about this, im leaning towards that i actually do believe in bigfoot. ridicule me if you want about it, i dont care, i can handle my moonshine too btw. i have no reason to doubt nuffsaid, big bill, or the other guy who shared his story(sorry forgot your screen name and too lazy to go back and look for it lol).

speaking of bigbill, i'd love to hear some more of your stories from your property in vermont.
