Hey guys,

Let me start by saying in no believer in Bigfoot, but what's happening right now may change that. Please read this through and hopefully give me some advice.

So a few nights ago I was lying in bed reading fishing posts in BR and I heard the loudest bang I've ever heard. So I get up and check around outside and the lid to one of my bear proof trashcans( I live in Blue Ridge, Ga) which has a lever that secures a tightening ring to a 200 pound trash can was nearly placed back on the top if the trash can but not fastened. So I go back inside. The next morning I went out to find a seat cushion from a chair on the ground. I tied it back to the chair. The next morning I go outside to find 4 golf all sized rocks lined up at my door and the cushion back on the ground in the same spot. Tonight I have put apples grapes and bacon around my house to attract what ever it is. And while I was doing that this evening I heard a "roar" that was followed by the sound of a tree branch being snapped. I live in the mountain mountains and know all of my elderly neighbors though I myself am a young lad of 27. Haha but seriously. I am too afraid to sleep at nights now bc the same cushion ends up untied and placed on the ground and rocks are lined up at my door and I am hearing spooky noises all the time. And I have been scared inside multiple times bc of loud almost "almighty exhales"

I experimented by drooping the trash can lid and I found that it was the noise I heard. But I had fastened it tightly the night before and only a human could've opened the lid because it's a fairly complicated process. Trash only runs on Tuesday. And I believe the occurrences began on Thursday.

Sounds like school's out, and some bored kid(s) are messing with you.  Get a deer camera, set it up, and see who it is.

Screw that. Nope. Seeing as its not supernatural so to speak. Get on some camo and get on the roof. Bring a large caliber rifle. (You ain't hunting deer) throw a couple Slim Jim's out and wait. Once the Sasquatch pops out put a round through its vitals. Problem solved. Mount the thing and put a Slim Jim in its hand. Wa Lah now you have a new decoration.

But Raider, a large caliber rifle won't be large enough. You might say. A .338 Lapua Magnum or a .50BMG kills EVERYTHING that walks on two or four legs. Even if its wearing armor.

Hell, I'll drive over there and pop the dang thing for ya, if you let me keep it. Would make a lovely conversation piece by my fire place.

Its just my sister in law , sorry for the scare ... In all seriousness , put up a trail camera. I have always lived out in country minus my last place . You see some weird animal behaviors.

Needless to say over 40 years of hunting, camping, I have experienced things that no one would believe.... As far a fishing, other than people,no unusal ocurances

if you think bigfoot is a possibility, then the last thing you want to do is set up a game camera. how about you leave some curtains and blinds open, and just look for something to be peeking in them, bigfoots are curious. collect the rocks and leave out some apples or PB&J sandwich halves in place of them. bigfoots supposedly like to exchange gifts. during the day explore the woods around your property, look for freshly broken tree limbs, stick structures, bedding areas, and footprints.

mostly bigfoots arent known to harm humans, they will let you know if they want you out of the area youre in if its also their area. also, look for animal kills like deer or hog. a deer leg will be all twisted up and broken. you possibly got growled at by a bigfoot, that is so awesome. meanwhile spend some more time outside of your house. do you ever get the feeling of being watched? i say dont set up cameras because if its a bigfoot it likely will avoid it or it will destroy your game cam. listen for tree knocks and rock clacks, also strange howls or sounds.

i admit, im obsessed with the possibility of bigfoot, i want in on some of the action lol

do you have a dog? it will act funny and cowardly if a bigfoot is around, even the toughest of dogs...

Well I will let you examine it after I drop it like a sack of stones.

Rifles aside, I dont think you want to shoot bigfoot or any pranksters.. a camera would be sufficient.

im not quite getting where youre going with that, not sure if i want to lol

I'm going to help him with his Sasquatch problem. I need a Sasquatch to add to my collection. You can examine the squatch before I send it to the taxidermist.

Why wouldn't you want to shoot big foot.

This is mainly in reply to red earth bc I took his advice and went in the woods. I found a trees that was like twisted around and broken recently but that could just be from storms. I felt like I was being watched the whole time but I ran out of there as fast as I could when I got hit on the back of the head by a rock about the size of a piece of ice. Any time I go into the woods I hear walking beside me and when I stop it stops but I don't see anything. It's spooky.

I will gladly let you stay in my cabin for a few nights. Once it gets dark and what ever it is comes back it 100x scarier than you would think. Just the thought of a 9 foot 800 pound thing that could easily tear me limb from limb roaming around outside my cabin is just a little freaky

The game cam is an excellent idea.  You can also set up a webcam and use IR light for illumination.  IR can be picked up by most digital cameras.

Keep a loaded rifle, but only for protection.  If there's no reason to kill whatever it is, don't.  If there is, you'll know it.  Treat it like a charging grizzly.  I'd recommend a .300 Magnum at minimum and open, express-style sights with a heavy solid flat point or heavy soft point.

The roof vantage point is an excellent idea.

Unusual things I've seen?  No Sasquatch, but I heard funny noises out by the creek some years back.  I went and took pictures of the tacks the next day and asked others to check them, too.

The picture was of hyena tracks in northern Indiana.  I've not seen them before or since.

You found Lulz my missing hyena? I have been looking everywhere for him for the last 6 years. How the hell he got to Indiana is beyond me.

Well, you listened to big foot lover and now your gonna get it. Obviously it now knows you are there and actively seeking it. Be careful what you seek. For it might decide to seek you. Its been nice knowing you.

Unless you believe the big cuddly fella was just tossing a rock at you to say hello.

You might wanna sleep on the roof or under the cabin tonight. :(

I am going to go with the Blair Witch.  Seriously guy, relax, for 2000 years no one has been able to document undisputable  proof of big foot, so I would say the odds are on your side.  Get yourself a couple of cheap game cameras and find out  what is going on.

Did it make sounds like this? This video was taken in Blue Ridge Georgia I believe.

http://youtu.be/yyYhzdUgEEY

Well it was just a deep grunt. And that video I believe is a fake. Some of my friends know the person that made it.

Well that would explain why it sounded like a gorilla. Quite a lot of big foot sightings in that area of the state. I'm kinda shocked.

Yeah I figure I will see it sooner or later. Each night more stuff keeps happening. Any idea on how to bait for them? I'll look for tracks again soon. I actually found one that is the same size as my shoe( a 15) but it wasn't a show it was a "Bigfoot track" of course. I'll post anything new I find. It's almost like a game between me and whatever it is. Hahah
