pnoonan21 Posted June 16, 2014 Posted June 16, 2014 Do you guys have any ideas on how I could drive this around? http://www.basshunter.com/index.php?option=com_content&view=article&id=11&Itemid=0 Could you guys link specific trailers that you think would work? Or do you think I could stick it on top of my Ford F150, or in the truck bed? Quote
sparky241 Posted June 16, 2014 Posted June 16, 2014 I've given this a lot of consideration as well, ypu at be able to get a ladder rack for your f150 and haul it like that or get a bed extender ( I think that's what they call the) and haul it in the bed. But either way requires you to break the whole boat package down. You could possible get a trailer kit for the boat as well Quote
jbw252 Posted June 16, 2014 Posted June 16, 2014 I saw an older thread here about those boats. Look here http://www.bassresource.com/bass-fishing-forums/topic/19836-bass-hunter-type-pond-boats-trailers/ Quote
kwhorne19 Posted June 16, 2014 Posted June 16, 2014 I've got a similar boat that I have on a Harbor Freight trailer, bought some threaded rod and put one end in trailer and the other through 2 bunk boards that the boat rests on inside the pontoons - had to raise the pontoons above the fenders... tnriverluver Posted June 16, 2014 Posted June 16, 2014 I have the 8ft Bass Baby and haul it either on an 5 X 8 utility trailer but most ofter it rides inside my toyhauler camper. That boat will easily go into the back of any fullsize pickup on the road however as long as you are able to lift one end and get it up on the tailgate and then just push it in and tie it down. DO NOT haul with the seat frames inserted as they will blow out! Quote
