I'm having a hard time attaching my humminbird fishin buddy fish finder to my sun dolphin sportsman. The spot I want to put it does not have plywood under it. That means it just bows the heck out of the plastic.I have my trolling motor on front so that rules out using that area or plywood. Any ideas?

(It's obviously not tighten down now)

I have the same problem. I have a sundolphin pro 9.4 and fishin buddy 110 and your right the side of the boat bends under the weight, I was thinking of cutting down two pieces of plywood and attaching them to the side of the boat where i want the fishfinder and just mounting it there. Any suggestions would be great though or if any one has any ideas.

Think I got it! Just made a big "u" out of plywood. Made it snug so it can't rock in any direction.

thanks for that Idea - I've been kicking around all sorts of ideas to keep my Fishinbuddy from pinching down on the plastic on my Sundolphin.  I'll give your idea a try - like the U to keep it from moving.
