Can someone get me pointed in the right direction. This is my first year for alot of things, multiple rods, bait casters, and a variety of tackle. For the last 15 years I only fished in line spinners, buzz baits, and scum frogs. I only used a G.loomis IMX SJR 843 that has lately had a stradic FJ 3000 w/20lb suffix 832 on it. I also picked up a G.loomis MBR843c and a falcon low rider 4-17 MM or 5-17 MHMF or a st croix premier PC70MM. For reels I bought an Abu C4 5601 and a shimano Calcutta 201b. Both are spooled with 14lb mono until I get the casting bugs worked out. New for this year I have spooks, spinners, lip less and square bill cranks from 1/4 to 5/8 Oz, a variety of jigs from 1/8 Oz shakey heads to 3/4 oz football, 5" senkos, 1/4 Oz t rig weights, hard and soft jerkbaits, some beaver, lizard and crayfish plastics.

TLDR: G.loomis IMX SJR 843s w/stradic 3000 20 lb 832
G.loomis IMX MBR843c
Falcon low rider 4-17 MM or 5-17 MHMF or St croix premier PC70mm
Abu C4 5601 with 14lb mono
Shimano Calcutta 201b with 14lb mono

Spooks, spinners, scum frogs, jerkbaits both hard and soft, lip less and square bills, jigs, t rigs, senkos, beavers, lizards and crayfish plastics.

What rods should go with what reels and what setups should fish what baits?
Thanks.

You went a little to technical there, but like anything the best way to figure this out is trial and error. However if I were you,  I would buy lighter line for one of the reels " if it can hold 14 go with 8 pound test". Pair this with your lightest action rod, this will be your fresh water set up good for panfish, perch , and depending on where you live bass, trout, pike. Where I live bass don't really grow that large I don't know where you live, check my location. Take your other reel throw it on a medium heavy rod. This will be for river and brackish water fishing. As far as your lures you can use all the ones you mentioned on either reel. BUT DO NOT CAST YOUR JIGS WITH THE LIGHT LINE . It will snap easily. Beware using your inline spinners and other light tackle with your heavy setup. It will cast poorly but it will still work. I apologize if I have said anything that insults you because some of this is beginner stuff. I don't know your experience so I gave you the basics.

Id use the spinning setup you've been using for everything under 1/4 ounce. Put the shimano on the mh falcon crankbait rod and use it for anything with treble hooks, but you might want to go with lighter line depending on cover and size of the fish in your area. Lighter line will give you more casting distance and allow cranks to dive deeper. Put the abu on the g loomis mbr and use it for jigs and worms and anything the other two setups wont handle. Thats what i would do with what you have anyway but you might find something different works better for you
