grid Posted April 12, 2007 Posted April 12, 2007 Can someone tell me why these baits cost so darn much? Quote
Super User Raul Posted April 12, 2007 Super User Posted April 12, 2007 They cost pretty much like any other Megabass lure, $20-24. Now if you are talking about those rare limited edition colors those can cost an arm and a leg. Quote
Super User Redlinerobert Posted April 12, 2007 Super User Posted April 12, 2007 I just won a couple on Ebay and am waiting for them to arrive. I'll let you konw. Quote
Super User Raul Posted April 12, 2007 Super User Posted April 12, 2007 What's so special about these lures? For me they are bass magnets and well worth the price. Quote
grid Posted April 12, 2007 Author Posted April 12, 2007 They better be for that price. what makes them different from others? Quote
Super User Raul Posted April 12, 2007 Super User Posted April 12, 2007 what makes them different from others? Everything in them, finish, balance, action, hooks. Quote
erice97699 Posted April 13, 2007 Posted April 13, 2007 I kinda look at it like I did when I was a kid... Years ago paying 6-7 dollars for a rapala was crazy for me but once I spent the money or my dad spent the money I could see the difference. Now I am the one that is buying the 15-24 dollar lures and reserving them as BOAT ONLY lures. I do see a difference but the rest of the guys in my club catch just as many fish on the domestic cheaper brands... Quote
Lucky Craft Man Posted April 13, 2007 Posted April 13, 2007 I purchased a Megabass Vision 110 off of eBay after reading how good they were on tackletour. One day while fishing a large submerged weedbed I tossed a Lucky Craft Pointer 100sp for about two hours. In that two hours, I caught 10 fish. So I thought I would give the Megabass Vision a try. I tossed the Megabass Vision for another two hours and caught 10 fish. There didn't seem to be any great advantage using the Vision and since it costs 20+ dollars, I might stick with the Pointers (which you can get on eBay for around $11 new). Quote
