CheckedOut Posted June 14, 2014 Posted June 14, 2014 Does anyone know if the super slick does not pick up weeds like dogwood fuzzies, I use the regular power pro for punching and frogging and it gets all caught up in my micro guides and I have to clean it up after every cast. Sometimes I cannot reel it gets so bad. Quote
gripnrip Posted June 14, 2014 Posted June 14, 2014 It is the nature of the beast my friend. I have my two spinning reel loaded up with the 8lb test. It is good line. Quote
FrankW Posted June 14, 2014 Posted June 14, 2014 If the "Fuzzies" are a real problem for you then I would use a rod with out the micro guides. Frank Quote

michang5 Posted June 19, 2014 Posted June 19, 2014 I use S8S on two spinning rods -- 15# and 20#. Both float. Fuzzies gonna stick. Quote
TorqueConverter Posted June 19, 2014 Posted June 19, 2014 Only one way to find out. It a super smooth 8 carrier so maybe it won't be as bad? Quote
