dam0007 Posted June 12, 2014 Posted June 12, 2014 Attempted to spool a reel with InvizX 10# and noticed line was nicked and frayed roughly every 30ft. Stripped that went to next spool, same thing, stripped that next spool same thing. All 3 spools were purchased back in December from TW. Just a heads up, if you have this line check it out when spooling. *I emailed Seguar through their site, no response so i called, they said contact retailer they cant do anything. Quote

I used to use Spider mono exclusively and had a issue they sent me a new spool and some lures(I lost a spinnerbait), no questions asked. They said they have contracts with retailers for all issues to be resolved through them. This post was more just to alert anyone who has a spool of this. call the retailer... I'm sure they'll help... Hopefully... Way past 30 days. I'll give TW a call though, I dont expect them to do anything it's not their fault. Quote

Ultimate was a lil battle about the line issue.... I was then granted a exchange... Whoa, glad that's over... Got home.. Same thing again only about 60 yds total. Took it back got my money & bought from BPS... No troubles.... No my fave line but that's another topic! Quote

21farms Posted June 12, 2014 Posted June 12, 2014 i used to be a big fan of seaguar fluoro and used invisx and red label with zero problems. i bought some 10# abrazx last fall and it is clearly defective...i'm really careful with my line but in my three trips with this line, i was getting breakoffs left and right. i emailed seaguar twice and got zero responses. i switched to sunline and will never buy seaguar fluoro again. You could take it into your hands and just pop the line and it would break. This was 17# line too. I have switched over to Vicious Pro Elite Fluorocarbon. So far I really like this line, It has been very good. Quote
