dam0007 Posted June 16, 2014 Author Posted June 16, 2014 What is it that makes the technology "old"? I'm gonna guess one thing you mean is the weight?? I just bought a used 50th Zillion early this spring and have used it some but not a lot so far. I think it's one of those reels that could live on as it is for a long time. Solid performer that's going to take a lot to beat it down. No nothing negative at all, just what it is, old. The crazy cranker debuted with a $269 price tag and some point jumped to $319. Now you can get it on sale for $298 or Ebay for $280ish. Why pay that much for something old. When you can get same brand same quality new with a warranty for half the price. Zillions are amazing reels from what Ive heard, I just can't justify paying over retail for one. Quote
dam0007 Posted June 16, 2014 Author Posted June 16, 2014 Ran the 201E5 on the Powell, WOW hell of a rod! Ran the DT 10s exactly how I wanted. I think I'm sticking with this pair and throwing 201E6 on the Dobyns. 1 Quote
